I am Lindsey Winkelman, the face behind the camera of SilverSplash Photography.
I started my photography business in August 2010 with nothing but a Canon Rebel xTi camera and the inspiration of a few outstanding photographers! I feel like I've already learned so much in just the short amount of time I've been doing this as a business, and aspire to continue to learn and grow more each day!
I've been taking pictures since I was 6 years old. I've always had a deep interest in photography, and decided to go a step further with it in 2010 when I made a business out of it! I can honestly say it's been an amazing learning experience for me, and it's come to be something I have an incredible love for.
I'm also a stay-at-home mom to my precious little guy. My son Asher is 2 1/2 years old, a bundle of fun, and my greatest subject. My husband is a full-time Paramedic in our small Iowa town, and my very best friend. I am so thankful for all the support my family and friends have given me! I wouldn't be where I am today without it. I am blessed!
